SINGAPORE, Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DCD Group announced last Friday the winners of its prestigious DatacenterDynamics Asia Pacific Awards 2014. The awards, which recognize innovation, leadership and "out of the box" thinking, were presented at a gala ceremony with over 250 senior industry professionals gathering to celebrate excellence across the datacenter industry. The ceremony marked the end of Singapore Data Center Week 2014, which saw networking, training and knowledge-exchange opportunities between the top movers and shakers of the datacenter industry from the 13th to the 17th of October 2014.
The result was an overwhelming number of high-quality submissions from government organizations to global brands with data centers in the Asia Pacific region.
The winners had to present their projects to a panel of four judges, after which their entries were re-scored to determine a winner. The results were based on the business and industry significance of the challenge addressed by the concept, creativity and innovation, effectiveness, and relevance to the wider industry challenges.
