Perfect World to Launch 'Samsara in the Six Realms' Expansion Pack for 'Zhu Xian' on May 28

(Nasdaq: PWRD) (“Perfect World” or the “Company”), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced that it will launch “Samsara in the Six Realms” expansion pack for “Zhu Xian” on May 28, 2008.

The new expansion pack, “Samsara in the Six Realms,” contains a large number of new features. The release of the new expansion pack also demonstrates the Company’s appreciation for its players who have always been supportive since the launch of “Zhu Xian” in late May 2007. “Samsara in the Six Realms” introduces new features to the game, including the “Pet System” and a brand new “Ghost” school. It will also introduce the “Sword Flying System” as well as the “Rebirth and Transformation System.” “Ghost” school is the first newly added school since the launch of “Zhu Xian.”

In the popular internet novel of the same name, the headmaster of the “Ghost” school, “Mr. Ghost,” and his disciples practice ancient sorcery, foreign evil magic and spiritualism. They also have the ability to perfectly combine the above three skills to create a magic of the netherworld. Online game players in the “Ghost” school can use magic to control and use a soul. Characters may change their exterior shape to become a ghost, a soul or a venomous king. The introduction of the “Ghost” school will also change the current world structure in “Zhu Xian.”
