Thirty five students to pursue an internationally recognised accounting qualification

YANGON, Myanmar, Aug. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Thirty five students in Myanmar received scholarships from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the world's largest professional body of management accountants, to pursue the certificate level of the CIMA professional qualification. The scholarships were presented during a ceremony on 19 August 2015, held at the Sule Shangri-La Hotel in Yangon.

The students will be awarded the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting once they have successfully completed the five assessments at the certificate level. CGMA is conferred by CIMA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This global designation is recognised by employers around the world, giving these scholarship recipients a golden opportunity to have a bright career in the future.

Scholarship recipients can study for the CIMA Certificate of Business Accounting at one of the six official CIMA tuition providers - IMA Institute of Accounting & Finance, MHR Centre II (Business Institute), Nay Lin Aung Finance & Accountancy Academy, Zaw Business School, Daw Yu Yu Myint Business & Management Training Centre and Victoria University College.
