Rising Stars Compete

Organized by China Cuisine Association and UBM Sinoexpo, The "Rising Star" Chef Competition aims to create Bocuse Cuisine Olympics in global colleges and universities. At the same time, as a significant event at HOTELEX, it is sponsored by Electrolux and Coca Cola and invites global professional judges, executive chefs and gold winners from Bocuse d'Or as onsite judges for the competition. The evaluation system will gather both opinions from judges and real demand from consumers to select the rising star.
In the past two competitions, the event relied on the comprehensive strength of the trade show and intense media cooperation to track and report the course of the competition. The events at HOTELEX Shanghai 2015 and HOTELEX Chengdu attracted numerous visitors who enjoyed the competition. Soon the event will usher in competitors from HOTELEX Guangzhou, HOTELEX Shanghai Division and Finalists in Shanghai 2016.
Shanghai Institute of Tourism, Nanjing Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Tourism College of Zhejiang China, Chongqing Vocational Institute of Tourism, Sichuan Business Service School will all participate the event. Teams from above institutions will compete in appetizer, soup, dessert and food preperation, winners of each division will enter in the final competition. The 2nd "Rising Star" Chef Competition Final will be held in HOTELEX Shanghai 2016.
