SHANGHAI, September 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- September 25, "Bund Holding" 2016 Aquabike World Championship GP Shanghai and Nations Cup Shanghai Lingang Station came to a successful end at Dishui Lake.

Nations Cup started the race calendar and made its debut in China from September 21 to 22. After two days of fierce competition, Team Russia won the championship for the second straight year, Team America took silver and Team UAE won the bronze. The prince of UAE, Sultan Ben was in attendance, cheering for Bund while also having an amicable conversation with Mr. Xin, which pushed the whole race to its highest point.
Following Nations Cup, the World Championship GP Shanghai started its eight station tour in 2016 calendar from 23 to 25, attracting 200 elite drivers from more than 20 countries and regions. Team Sweden, Poland and France won the top three in Ski Ladies GP1 respectively, Team Austria, Spain and France were the top three in Ski GP1. Team Slovenia won the championship and the third place in Freestyle respectively and Team UAE won the second. UK, Kuwait and France secured trophies in Runabout racing.
A number of important leaders presented the race and gave trophies to the winners, including Xin Chongjie, the president of the local organizer, Bund Holding Group, Nicolo Di San Germano, the president of Union Internationale Motornautique (UIM) and Sultan Ben, the prince of UAE.
