STOCKHOLM, Dec. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Saab Automobile AB has contracted Logica AB to handle the management of their business travel. The solution is delivered as a cloud service from eBuilder AB. The goal is to provide Saab's employees in Sweden with an appropriate tool for travel and travel-expense administration that is simple to use and lowers travel-related costs.

"This is a brilliant example of how newly independent Saab Automobile chooses to work with the smartest solutions in partnership with innovative suppliers," declares Hans-Jorgen Brandt, PR Manager Nordic at Saab Automobile.

Using eBuilder's Travel and Expense Management Cloud Process, Saab Automobile will have a fully-integrated travel management process in which information (profiles, delivery notes, card and travel account transactions, and reimbursements to the traveler) is synchronized automatically between Saab's back-office systems and the travel providers.

"The contract with Saab Automobile is part of a larger contract between Saab and Logica, and it initially will run for two years," relates Bengt Wallentin, eBuilder's CEO. "We are especially glad to again deliver one of our standard services, which are already used by many companies and organizations."

One of the reasons Saab and Logica chose eBuilder's solution is that it can be implemented and delivered so quickly - the project started in the end of September 2010, and the solution will go into production on December 31, 2010.
