BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, June 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- inVentiv Health, Inc., a life science knowledge and service company, announced today the appointment of an industry veteran with deep expertise in the Asian pharmaceutical marketplace to lead the office in Seoul, Korea.
Kihwan Park assumes the role of President and General Manager of inVentiv Health Korea, bringing broad management expertise and decades of experience in building great teams to his new role. He will report to Dan Feldman, President of inVentiv Health Asia.
Park served most recently as Managing Director of UCB China and South East Asia, where he spearheaded the design and implementation of UCB's growth strategies. Before being assigned to China, he led UCB Korea, making it one of Korea's most effective and efficient pharmaceutical companies.

Park also has worked in Korea for AstraZeneca as the Business Unit Head for its GI, Respiratory and CNS franchises. Previously, he worked for a decade with major pharmaceutical companies in the United States, including Eli Lilly as a corporate MBA hire, then Bristol-Myers Squibb Company as Director of International Marketing and Elan Corp. as Senior Director for Global Marketing.
Park received his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, and his BA from Yonsei University in Seoul.
