(Ho Chi Minh City, October 2025)— After a three-year hiatus, the Harper's Bazaar Star Awards, officially returns with the theme “Secret Blooms.” One of Vietnam's most prestigious fashion and art events, the awards ceremony promises to deliver a night that celebrates the best of Vietnam's creative culture, aesthetic, and global ambitions.
Held just once every three years, the Harper's Bazaar Star Awards is often referred to as the “Oscars of fashion and creativity” in Vietnam — gathering the most influential faces, brands, and projects shaping trends and inspiring across the worlds of Lifestyle, Fashion, Entertainment, and Business.
A symbol of flourishing growth
The theme of this year's Harper's Bazaar Star Awards, Secret Blooms, speaks to the journeys of those talented individuals who have patiently nurtured their dreams and persisted with dedication to reach a shining moment. Every blooming flower represents a journey of relentless breakthrough by today's generation of Vietnamese artists, entrepreneurs, designers, and pioneers in creative industries.
Of course, we not only honor achievements in full bloom but also acknowledge those who are still quietly planting the seeds — enriching Vietnam's contemporary cultural landscape for the future.
Recognizing 33 different award categories
This year marks a milestone for the Harper's Bazaar Star Awards with the expansion to 33 categories, spanning Lifestyle, Fashion, Entertainment, and Lifetime Achievement — recognizing enduring contributions and timeless influence.
Categories include: Fashion Designer of the Year, Photographer of the Year, Female Model of the Year, Actor/Actress of the Year, Successful Woman of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award — collectively painting a vibrant portrait of the individuals and brands that are increasingly pushing Vietnam into the global creative conversation. At previous seasons of the Harper's Bazaar Star Awards, many prominent figures from Vietnam's entertainment industry were also honored. In 2019, Vũ Cát Tường was awarded Composer of the Year, Cường Ngô received the title of Director of the Year, Nguyễn Quốc Trường was recognized as Actor of the Year, and Ninh Dương Lan Ngọc won Actress of the Year. In the music category, Noo Phước Thịnh was honored as Male Singer of the Year, while Hoàng Thùy Linh took home the Female Singer of the Year trophy.
Continuing that success, at Harper's Bazaar Star Awards 2022, Dahan Phương Oanh was named Female Model of the Year, Hoàng Nhật Nam was recognized as Fashion Director of the Year, and Tiên Nguyễn received the Influencer of the Year award, all leaving their remarkable marks on the fashion and entertainment industries.
