COPA HARIMAU Tournament Info

The team from Football Central, Dynamique Konzepts Pte Ltd and supported by JDT Coaches

Copa Harimau is a domestic youth football tournament organized by Football Central and Singaporean Dynamique Konzepts Pte Ltd the organizer of asia famous youth tournament Singa Cup. The inaugural edition has kicked-off from July to September 2019 across 3 states in Malaysia which is Penang, Selangor and Johor.

For Penang we also included together teams from Northern to participate in Penang and Selangor we included Kuala Lumpur teams as well.

Tournament Flow

This year we picked 4 top winners in each state and they have to play in the National final round

The Final winner will go to Singapore to feature in SInga Cup (02 - 03 November 2019) as they will enjoy the free benefit such as Registration fee is waived off, accommodation is fully sponsored while the team stay in Singapore and many more.

Grand Final Winner MSSD KOTA SETAR

The winners from Penang state, MSSD Kota Setar, Selangor NFDP ATPP Cougars and Johor 7 heroes with other teams participated successfully in the grand final. MSSD Kota Setar from Kedah has won this year Copa Harimau 2019 by defeating Lestari Junior from Kuala Lumpur 3-0.

Our Grand Final V.I.P to present the prizes was Javi Jorda and Suthesh Nair from JDT Academy. We also had this trophies and prizes only for the Grand Final which is

• MVP ( Most Valuable Player ) won by Daliea Eliesa Binti Mohd Hafiz from Lestari Junior FC
• Top Scorer won by 3 players which shared the same tally of goal

To add there were 3 players from this tournament that JDT interested in.

For this very first tournament held in Malaysia we catered for only under 10 boys and next year we will bring in under 12 and also too more states. Also the slot of winner participating in Singa Cup we will add another or more.

This tournament gives the local youth teams to participate and a chance to explore and to gain exposures every year.
