Confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among overseas Filipinos have reached 401, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
As of April 1, the Department of Health-International Health Regulations (DOH-IHR) has verified 197 of the 401 confirmed COVID-19 cases throughout 32 countries.
The latest infographic released by the DFA reflects 270 Filipinos overseas undergoing treatment in various health facilities across the globe, while 118 have recovered from the fatal disease.
The data, on the other hand, noted four new deaths in the European region.
“The DFA personnel in our foreign service posts continue to monitor the status of our people abroad and remain committed to ensuring their welfare,” the DFA said in a statement.
