SINGAPORE, March 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Forty-four finalists for the Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia 2018 have convinced an independent panel of judges of their well-deserving achievements over the past year. Held in conjunction with the Singapore Maritime Week on 25 April 2018 at the Marina Bay Sands®, Singapore, the 11th Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia gala dinner not only brings together some of the most respected and senior maritime professionals in a premier networking setting but also seeks to recognise and honour remarkable contributions from maritime individuals and companies.
One of the key highlights for this year's awards is four newly introduced competitive categories, including the Green Shipping Award, Fuel Efficiency Award and Communications at Sea Award. Awards submissions across 13 competing categories were encouraging and forthcoming.
"The Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia recognises efforts from companies that constantly rise above challenges and go the extra mile to outperform itself.
