KLM new cabin class: Premium Comfort and New World Business Class seats

Premium Comfort is an entirely new inflight class with its own cabin, offering a new type of seats as well as distinctive service and catering concepts. The seats of Premium Comfort Class seats will vary from 21 to 28, which will be wider than standard seats, offering more legroom, a larger screen and a footrest. Premium Comfort seats can also recline further than Economy Class seats.

The broader seats of our new World Business Class seats have a sliding door ensuring greater comfort and privacy. Thanks to various innovations, the seats and their fittings are 10-15% lighter than other business class seats in this market segment, thereby contributing to KLM's sustainability objectives.

KLM, A forerunner in sustainable aviation

KLM pioneers to become a frontrunner in sustainable aviation and took important steps on this path, for example it began to blend o.5 percent sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on flights departing from Amsterdam and signed a multi-year SAF supply contract, first steps towards achieving our 10%worldwide SAF target by 2030.

For the third consecutive year, KLM has again won the APEX World Class Award. This special recognition is awarded by customers and the industry for performance in relation to themes including safety, customer well-being and sustainability.
