The sixth annual HFM Asia Hedge Fund Service Awards moved from its usual home of Hong Kong to Singapore for this year's event, with hundreds of guests gathering to honour the top performing service providers in the region. BBC Asia correspondent Karishma Vaswani hosted this year's ceremony at the Four Seasons, Singapore, which rewarded the Asia-focused hedge fund administrators, prime brokers, lawyers, and technology experts who excelled in the support and client service they provided to managers through the year.
The judging panel of local hedge fund COOs and other operations and legal experts working for leading managers in the region had a number of tough decisions to make when coming up with this year's winners and it was a very close call in a number of categories.
