BEIJING, Aug. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Do Koreans still believe their country is the leading destination for facelifts in Asia? An order proposed by the Chinese government placing some restrictions on facelift work performed in South Korea may have some negative effect on that country's market for the procedure.
The China Beauty Economic Innovation Summit, hosted by the Global Impact Think Tank and co-organized by Beijing Harmonious Medical Beauty Hospital, was held in Beijing on August 6. Nearly 300 leaders and executives from the National Development and Reform Commission of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, Wu Jieping Medical Foundation, people.cn and xinhuanet.com attended the conference, signifying China's decision and confidence in that decision to start promoting its own medical beauty brands.
Harmonious Medical Beauty founder Professor Feng Bin at the summit announced 508 types autologous fat transplantation procedures that meet the standard. He said, "There's no powdered milk better than breast milk and no fillings better than autologous fat. We can complete one autologous fat transportation procedure within one hour and achieve a high fat survival rate, providing beauty seekers with advanced, safe and healthy fat transportation procedures."
The standard has been adopted by approximately 100 Chinese medical beauty firms to help them significantly increase their success rates. Professor Feng can extract 600ml of fat with no loss of blood or with amount of blood never exceeding 2ml during the autologous fat breast surgery, without the need for centrifuges to separate the fat, ensuring complete fat granules. The surgery, extracting fat from one part of the body and transporting it to the body part in need, can be completed in about 40 minutes, achieving a fat survival rate of higher than 90 per cent.
This is the first time that Professor Feng has publically announced the set of standards for the procedure.
