China Digital Textile Conference will open on April 2017

SHANGHAI, Feb. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Organised by WTiN and co-organised by UBM China and Shanghai International Digital Printing Industry Fair (TPF), China Digital Textile Conference will be held on 18 April at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai. It is the second cooperation between WTiN and TPF. The forum will attract more than 250 worldwide professionals on digital printing machinery and technology suppliers, end users of digital printing, and college experts, as well as designers.

China is the world's biggest producer of digitally printed textiles. According to data from WTiN, 2015 saw a strong increase in the installed base of digital printing capacity in China, as well as in the number of domestically manufactured textile machines. By the end of 2016, almost 6,000 dedicated digital textile printers were recorded to be operating in the country, with a capacity to produce just over 191 million sqm of digitally printed fabric annually. In addition, there could be as many as 2,000 more adapted roll-to-roll or flatbed machines being used in textile and garment printing applications.
