AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Dec. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited (NZX:FPH, ASX:FPH), announced today that the District Court in Munich has overturned both preliminary injunctions previously granted to ResMed, Inc against Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's German subsidiary, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare GmbH.
In August 2016, the District Court in Munich granted two preliminary injunctions preventing the sale of F&P Simplus, Eson and Eson 2 masks in Germany by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare GmbH. In a hearing on 17 November, the District Court ruled to overturn the first preliminary injunction.
In a subsequent hearing on 1 December, the District Court ruled to overturn the second preliminary injunction. Consequently, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare GmbH has resumed sales of F&P Simplus, Eson and Eson 2 masks in Germany.
