ICAP's 25th Annual Global Charity Day Raises US$6.4 Million

Event celebrated and funds raised at ICAP offices across Asia Pacific including Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Wellington

SINGAPORE, Dec. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ICAP, part of TP ICAP Group, the world's largest interdealer broker, is today pleased to announce that it raised US$6.4 million on its 25th annual global Charity Day.

ICAP offices across the Asia Pacific region, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Wellington, participated in the fund-raising efforts, with 100% of ICAP's revenues and brokers' commissions going directly to charities.

At the ICAP Charity Day in Singapore on 5th December, guest of honour Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for National Development, spoke with customers to close deals worth US$80 million. Celebrity guests in Singapore included Dr Georgia Lee, Ann Kok, Pan Ling Ling, Andie Chen, Kate Pang and Vincent Ng. Sydney welcomed guests including Joe Hildebrand, Peter Overton, Mark Ferguson, Jean Kittson, Jordan and Zac Stenmark.

Meanwhile in London, the Duchess of Cornwall was guest of honour at ICAP's global headquarters. Celebrities including Drew Barrymore and Sugar Ray Leonard supported the U.S. Charity Day.
