Russia and Singapore to jointly create a Contingency Situation Management Center

SINGAPORE, Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Rostec is creating a Situation Center which will monitor, control and coordinate the protection of assets and elimination of contingency consequences at all Corporation's facilities in the Russian Federation. Within the framework of Russia-Singapore business mission, Rostec and AETOS, a Singaporean company, reached an agreement on the exchange of resources when creating the Situation Center.

The main function of the Center is to prepare and support management decisions based on detailed monitoring and forecasting of possible contingency (emergency) scenarios at Rostec facilities. The Situation Center will collate and analyze information from all possible sources, including management structures of holding companies and enterprises. This approach will significantly improve the efficiency of management across the Corporation.

The cooperation with Singaporean partners, recognized leaders in the field of integrated security systems, will be the catalyst for the development of such technologies in Russia," said Nikolay Volobuev, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation.

The document signed by AETOS and Rostec in the name of SIBER (Rostec subsidiary) will promote synergy of Rostec enterprises' capacities manufacturing high-tech products in the relevant areas, and AETOS competences in the field of digital security control, as well as provide countermeasures against a broad range of threats and support decision-making for elimination of emergency situations.

Fully functional Situation Center will be located on the territory of the Rostec City, an innovative complex to be built at the former Tushino airfield site.
