VoyageOne announces new solution to achieve ecommerce entry into China

LOS ANGELES, June 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- American ecommerce executives dream of China because its vast and fast-growing middle class has taken to online shopping with a vengeance. But selling directly to Chinese consumers was until today, a long, expensive, and difficult project. Not anymore, it seems.

VoyageOne announced today a two-part solution with ChannelAdvisor that could make ecommerce dreams of China a reality for many. First, there is Liking, an online department store owned by VoyageOne. Liking is also present in TMall Global, part of Alibaba, the most popular online marketplace in China. The second part of the solution is Liking's integration with ChannelAdvisor's platform. With that integration, sellers can now launch in China with just a few clicks.

"With Liking connected to our platform, ChannelAdvisor sellers can now access China," remarked Jayson Humphrey, senior manager of business development at ChannelAdvisor. "This integration provides an easy, fast and cost effective way to launch in China and I am thrilled our sellers can add Liking just like other channel right from our console," added Humphrey.

Sellers' products are handpicked by Liking's merchant team for listing within Liking. Nearly all the costs, time, and effort that used to be necessary to open a dedicated ecommerce operation are eliminated. So are the complexities of the past. Indeed, because Liking is operated by VoyageOne, a leader in cross-border ecommerce to China, Liking sellers automatically leverage VoyageOne's entire platform. This means that all aspects of technology, logistics, marketing, customer service, returns, and more are automatically taken care of.

Dennis Zhang, CEO of VoyageOne, is excited by the launch.
