Sold-out TEDxHaymarket Event Announces Live Stream

TEDxHaymarket organisers announced that the sold-out event can be viewed on live stream from 5:30-8:00pm AEDT on Thursday, 23 February.

SYDNEY, Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The February 2017 TEDxHaymarket explores the theme "Think, Act, Evolve" and includes speaker Alpha Cheng, a teacher and humanitarian who will speak out after suffering the profound loss of his father at the hands of an extremist in Paramatta. Alpha has turned his tragedy into a call for Australians to unite rather than be divided by hate. Other speakers include:

  • John Wiltshire and Bill Dimas, founders of aMBUSH Gallery and Wiltshire + Dimas and advocates for the use of art for social impact
  • Pearl Tan, Australian television and film actress, writer, director and producer, speaking out on intersectionality
  • Rafael Calvo, professor at the University of Sydney and expert in technology designed for well-being
  • Michael Wu, Managing Director at Natures Care, on growing a business, the subtleties of doing business in Asia and leaving a legacy.
