SINGAPORE, Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Spackman Entertainment Group Limited ("Spackman Entertainment Group" or the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), one of Korea's leading entertainment production groups, announced today that its next movie with the working title, GOLDEN SLUMBER, produced by its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Zip Cinema Co., Ltd. ("Zip Cinema"), commenced filming.
GOLDEN SLUMBER, a manhunt thriller directed by Nakamura Yoshihiro and is based on the Japanese novel by Isaka Kotaro.
The movie stars Gang Dong-won, who has previously collaborated with Zip Cinema in several movie projects including MASTER (2016) and THE PRIESTS (2015). Joining him in GOLDEN SLUMBER is top Korean actress Han Hyo-joo, who previously starred in Zip Cinema's hit film, COLD EYES (2013).
Co-starring with the pair is Yoo Jae-myeong, an artist managed by Spackman Media Group Limited, an associate company of the Group.
The estimated total production budget (including prints and advertising costs) for GOLDEN SLUMBER is tentatively set at approximately KRW 10 billion (or US$8.7 million). GOLDEN SLUMBER is expected to be released in Korean theatres by the second half of 2017.
