WEIHAI, China, July 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Uni-Orange Design, China's leading provider of integrated industrial design solutions, presented its self-developed intelligent product Apfel AP150 which is the first self-propelled intelligent cone picker in China,at Interpoma China 2017 International Congress & Exhibition for the Cultivation, Storage and Marketing of Apples.
The exhibition took place from the 28th to the 30th of June 2017 in the Weihai International Exhibition Center in Weihai City, Shandong Province, China. Apfel AP150 drawed the attention from a number of customers at home and abroad, media outlets, and public officials from Weihai municipal government and Weihai Agricultural Beaureu.
Zhang Hui, mayor of Weihai, together with public officials from Weihai municipal government and Weihai Agricultural Beaureu, came to the joint exhibition area of Uni-Orange Design and Jereh to watch the video display to get a glimpse of Apfel AP150. Zhang Hui praised Uni-design's effort in developing such fine machinery.
According to the video display, when working in the field, Apfel AP150 can automatically move and avoid topographic obstacles. The machine can walk on a variety of landscapes such as highland and hill area. Compare with conventional cone picker methods,it increases productivity by 3-5 times. Apfel AP150 sets a higher standard in China's orchard equipment industry.
During the three-day exhibition, Uni-Orange's Apfel AP150 was always surrounded by visitors with great interests. According to Uni-Orange, the name "Apfel" comes from the "apple" in German. Uni-Orange coordinated its mastery of German advanced technology with characteristics of China's orchard in the design of Apfel AP150 to better meet the need of China's agriculture. In future, Uni-Orange will also develop automatic cone picker for international customers.
