Waseda to Admit Students with Predicted HKDSE Scores

TOKYO, Oct. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Waseda University (Tokyo) will accept Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) predicted scores for admission to the University, starting in the 2017 September entry (application period: 10/2016 to 3/2017). This new admission policy will expand opportunities for students in Hong Kong who wish to study at Waseda.

Students may apply to English-based bachelor degree programs with HKDSE predicted scores in the following three schools: School of Political Science and Economics (PSE) (https://www.waseda.jp/fpse/pse/en/), School of Social Sciences (SSS) (https://www.waseda.jp/fsss/sss/en/) and School of International Liberal Studies (SILS) (https://www.waseda.jp/fire/sils/en/).

Waseda reviews applications holistically and has no minimum requirement. However, to be a competitive candidate, an applicant should achieve distinction on the HKDSE. The predicted scores of the HKDSE must include four core subjects and at least two elective subjects (Category A, B or C).
