Asia Clean Capital Cooperates with NIVEA on Solar PV Project

BEIJING, April 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Asia Clean Capital ("ACC") today announced a distributed solar power supply agreement with NIVEA (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("NIVEA Shanghai"). ACC will build solar system on rooftop, carport and open space in NIVEA's factory in Qingpu, Shanghai. Under the terms of the Agreement, ACC will invest 100 percent of the system cost and undertake the design, construction, and long-term system maintenance.

As one of the leading companies in skin care field, NIVEA is constantly working towards reducing its consumption of water, energy and scarce raw materials in production and sales. The solar project adapts self-consumption model. Electricity from the solar system will be provided to NIVEA Shanghai at competitve rates to ensure operational savings throughout the lifetime of the system. In addition to monetary savings, the system will make significant contribution to the local ecological environment. The system is expected to reduce approximately 12.3 tons of SO2, 19,652 tons of CO2, and 36,683 tons of water consumption in the contract term.

The solar project will help NIVEA fulfil its social responsibility and reduce its carbon footprint.
