SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Blockchain Seoul 2018 will be held from September 16th to 19th, 2018 at COEX, being one of the largest conferences in Korea.

Sponsored by the Metropolitan Seoul Government, Blockchain Seoul 2018 is organized by the Korean National Assembly of the 4th Industrial Revolution Forum, together with Money Today Media Group, ZDNet, and Korea Blockchain Association.

Blockchain Seoul 2018 features three big events: B7 Summit, B7 CEO Summit, and Blockchain Expo.

B7, short for Blockchain 7, refers to the seven countries with leading business and technologies in blockchain including Switzerland, Estonia, Lithuania, Singapore, and Korea. From Switzerland, Cecilia Mueller-Chen of the CVA Regulatory & Policy Working Group will join, along with Asse Sauga of Estonian Crypto Association, Vice-Minister (Government CIO) Elijus Čivilis of the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy and President Chia Hock Lai from Singapore FinTech Association on September 18th.

B7 CEO Summit held on the 17th features the world's 7 most powerful blockchain projects to learn about the latest developments and ideas to foster industry innovation. Speakers include Kathleen Breitman of Tezos and Professor Dawn Song of Oasis Labs, they will share insight and lessons aiding emerging blockchain startups and solidifying the industry.

Blockchain EXPO is a key feature seeking to make blockchain an everyday technology for all by providing an educational environment. Expecting over 20,000 participants, it serves as a cost-effective and efficient way for blockchain companies to build up their Korean community.
