SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- As the number of international students who desire to study abroad in Korea, the nation that is leading the world in its effort to combat COVID-19, the digital and blockchain based international student matching platform is becoming popular. The platform suggests technological alternatives to secure the safety of online application processes, replacing the traditional in-person services including K-study abroad consulting and document submission.

For this, Dain Leaders has entered the verification process through Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), a national institution that certifies the quality and security standards of software. The platform's blockchain data integrity, data storage, DB stability, ability to recover in case of interruptions, and the capacity and security of blockchain will be tested. For this, Hanyang University provided a testbed and 2,000 applications from foreign students, including graduation certification and transcripts as a collaboration effort to develop and test the digital certification and history management platform for admission officers.

The certification test will examine 10 areas of quality and performance, and 15 areas related to blockchain functions. The test environment will include a server that uses general CPU, blockchain server and nods, and will aim to reach 20TPS. Although TPS is not the perfect variable to measure the blockchain performance, it is essential to ensure a certain level of block processing speed and TPS to ensure the stability of the final product.

"After completing the test from TTA, we hope to launch the product by this year. We hope many users including foreign students and college admission officers will benefit from the service, and we will do our best to enter the market. Korean colleges and educational institutes can digitally manage the foreign students' history and admission documents through the K-Study abroad platform without having to develop their own system", added Lim Mooho, the CEO of Dain Leaders.
