SHANGHAI, July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dianrong today announced the appointment of Tony Zhang as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Zhang will report to Long Hsiang Loh, CEO of Dianrong.

Mr. Zhang has nearly two decades of experience in science and technology, with in-depth knowledge of financial and internet technology as well as company management. He worked in Silicon Valley for 11 years, including eight years at PayPal in various leadership roles. He provided recognized technical and business leadership across a range of PayPal's core product features and functionalities.
After returning to China at the end of 2011, Mr. Zhang joined Ctrip as a Director of Engineering in the hotel department and was later appointed CTO of several travel business units. During his five years' tenure at Ctrip, Mr. Zhang led a team that successfully delivered many products and helped Ctrip build engineering and product management processes and culture.
Since 2016, Mr. Zhang has been the CTO and Partner of Benlai Holding Group, China's largest online fresh grocery market, where he led the engineering and product management for all Benlai's business units, including business-to-business, business-to-consumer and the new generation of retail.
Mr. Zhang has a Master of Science Degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University, and an executive education in Product Management from University of California Berkeley.
