The first edition of Matter of Taste Taipei features a blockbuster line-up of over 200 iconic wines of the world, rated from RP90 to RP100, to taste in one afternoon, the average score is over 93 points, which stands high on the 100-point scale of the Wine Advocate.

Guests will be able to walk about the tasting room to discover and taste according to their preferences, from great classics of Bordeaux, Rhone, Italy and Champagne, to new world stars from Argentina, Chile, California, Australia and New Zealand, and amazing discoveries from Spain, Portugal, and Greece.

Over twenty wine makers, winery owners and winery ambassadors will make the trip to Taipei for this special opportunity to share their wines and passion with guests. This will be a unique opportunity to meet up close and personal the people behind Il Marroneto, Domaines Bournet-Lapostolle, Le Bon Pasteur, Domaine de la Charbonniere, Mas Becha, Fattoria Le Pupille, Castello Romitorio, Chateau Labegorce, De Martino, Trapiche, Gramona, Pape Clement, Julia Kemper, Rocca delle Macìe, Les 3 Cellier, Vina Ventisquero, Vignobles K, Chateau TrotteVieille, D'Arenberg, Catena Zapata, Vina Almaviva, Couvent des Jacobins.

Californian star wines will be there with a Continuum Estate RP99 pointer, a Ridge RP98 pointer, Anakota, Hartford Court and more. Look for top Australians with Torbreck, d'Arenberg, Jasper Hill, Hentley Farm, as well as stars of Argentina and Chile with Zuccardi, Catena Zapata, de Martino, Almaviva, Clos Apalta. Lovers of great classics will taste Beaucastel (97pointer), de Venoge, Pape Clement, Tarlant, Trotte Vieille, Bon Pasteur, Valandraud, Chapoutier, Ferraton, Fombrauge, Delamotte and more.

The four expert masterclasses conducted by critics of the Wine Advocate will be staging rare wines such as the rare Cote Rotie Cuvee Belle Helene of Stephane Ogier (RP100), Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie la Landonne (RP99), Anakota Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Dakota Vineyard (RP98), M. Chapoutier Chateauneuf du Pape Croix de Bois (RP97), Pontet-Canet 2010 (RP100) and many more.
