"With the Stock Exchange introducing the biggest reform of its listing rules in 25 years to admit Weighted Voting Rights Companies; increasing integration between Hong Kong and mainland's capital markets, and the acceleration of OBOR and the Greater Bay Area initiatives, Hong Kong's capital and stock markets are poised for a big leap of change, bringing new market opportunities but regulatory challenges at the same time," said Mr. Francis Leung, Chairman of CHKLC.
"As an ogranisation of and for listed companies, the Chamber takes to its heart the many issues concerning market development, fund raising efficiency, regulatory effectiveness and fairness, and corporate governance, all of which impact on the quality of our market and how Hong Kong can maintain its position as a leading financial and capital formation centre."
