SYDNEY, Oct. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Self Care Corporation Pty Ltd, the owner of the freezeframe brand, has terminated the limited authorization it had provided to Hong Kong company, Freezeframe Co., Limited of No. 5, 17/F Bonham Trade Centre, 50 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, to distribute freezeframe products in the PRC.
That authorization, in the form of non-exclusive, non-transferable "Authorisation Letters" issued by Self Care, was never a formal distribution agreement between Self Care and Freezeframe Co., Limited or any entities related to it, and neither Freezeframe Co., Limited nor Freezeframe China Co Pty Ltd are, or have ever been, part of Self Care.
On 6 September 2019, Self Care formally notified Freezeframe Co., Limited that the parties' limited commercial relationship was terminated, effective immediately, and gave notice to Freezeframe Co., Limited of the formal revocation of the Authorization Letters, effective 6 October 2019.
Self Care has not supplied any freezeframe products to Freezeframe Co., Limited nor to any of its associated companies, including Freezeframe China Co Pty Ltd or EPAQ International Pty Ltd, since March 2019, and will not supply any further freezeframe products to them.
Freezeframe Co., Limited has been informed by Self Care that it and its related entities must halt any use of Self Care owned Intellectual Property, including in their company name and/or any promotional materials. Neither will they or any entities associated with them be permitted to represent themselves as "authorized" distributors of Self Care's freezeframe products.
Self Care CEO Sonia Amoroso says, "We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition to our trusted distribution partners and continuing an uninterrupted supply of Australia's Number 1 Clinical Skincare brand, including the original REVITALEYES product -- which has had no change to its number 1 selling formula for 8 years now."
Consumers are advised to exercise caution when purchasing freezeframe products including REVITALEYES, BREAST ENHANCER, and TUMMYTUCK from unauthorised resellers as products may not fit Self Care's quality standards and authenticity cannot be guaranteed.
