Kids can enjoy hours of creative fun with arts and crafts at the Edutainment Centre, which is located on the second floor of Galaxy Hotel. New outdoor activities for kids include the Garden Exploration, which is a guided educational tour of the Grand Resort Deck garden to learn about plant species, colors, shapes and nature; and DIY kite-making at the Grand Resort Deck garden gazebo followed by kite-flying on the lawn.
Kids can also take part in the Children's Paper Art Workshop on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 17 June to 27 August at Galaxy Macau's East Square. Galaxy Macau joins hands with celebrated Chinese paper sculptor Wen Qiuwen to present Macau's first-ever large-scale paper sculpture exhibition—a captivating experience for locals and tourists alike. As an explorer of new traditions, Wen Qiuwen is recognized for her works that combine paper art and light sculpture, the most famous of which includes "Southern Lion Girl" and "Shanghai Fish Lantern". Her works are seen as Chinese symbols and have been exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in France, as well as art festivals in Italy, Hong Kong and various cities in Mainland China. For this exhibition, the artist has imagined a "Candy-colored Garden", crafting a dream-like world where planets and stars revel in a blooming summer garden. Wen Qiuwen's artworks are on display at Diamond Lobby, East Square and Crystal Lobby at Galaxy Macau.
