Hong Kong Airlines to operate Embrace "Home" Kong flight

HONG KONG, Oct. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Hong Kong Airlines will operate a special Embrace "Home" Kong sunset flight on Saturday, 24 October 2020. HX852 will depart Hong Kong International Airport at 4:30pm, flying within 200 nautical miles from Hong Kong over the South China seas. During the 90-minute flight, passengers will get to experience a spectacular sunset from the skies, as well as enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Hong Kong, a favourite activity for many travellers during take-off and landing.

With safety consideration as a top priority, Hong Kong Airlines has limited the number of participants and will operate the flight with an Airbus A320 aircraft. Some 100 seats are now open for sale (click here). All-inclusive fare will be sold on a per-row basis, starting from HK$852 for one or two passengers and HK$1,188 for three passengers. As a token of appreciation, each passenger will receive HK$600 in cash vouchers, which they can use to purchase air tickets from Hong Kong Airlines or products from HKA Holidays for their next vacation.

Limited tickets will be on sale at the HKA Holidays official website. For participants who wish to spend the weekend exploring attractions in Lantau Island, an add-on staycation at Novotel Citygate priced at HK$1,288 is available for purchase. The sweet deal includes a one-night stay in a standard room plus dinner and breakfast buffet for two adults. 

Passion for service – Supporting business partners

In support of local travel agents whose businesses are also affected by the pandemic, tickets to Hong Kong Airlines' Embrace "Home" Kong flight are also available for sale at EGL Tours, Hong Thai Travel Services, Sunflower Travel, Miramar Travel and Eternal East Tours. Customers who purchase tickets from these agents may enjoy additional perks or simply check out some the fantastic services offered by the individual travel agency.

Hong Kong Airlines understands how important food and beverage is to customers and has collaborated with its long-time business partner, Gate Gourmet, to provide all participants with a snack box that day. The renowned inflight caterer, who has recently diversified its business to create restaurant-quality meals for fine dining at home, will also gift each passenger with WRLD FLVRS, their new product after the flight. 

Passengers holding the special boarding pass for Embrace "Home" Kong flight will get to enjoy dining discount at The Galley by Café Proud Wings, an aviation-themed restaurant.
