CHONGQING, China, June 2, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- From 1 May to 30 June 2020, Niccolo Chongqing invites guests to indulge their senses with the sweet ingenuity of the Niccolo Art Afternoon Tea. Since opening in September 2017, Niccolo Chongqing has become a cherished city landmark, winning numerous awards and leading the contemporary chic lifestyle from the city's most fashionable address at the heart of dynamic Jiangbeizui Central Business District.
Niccolo Chongqing celebrates world-renowned local and international artists, sculptors and designers with an exceptional collection of artworks on display throughout the hotel and Chongqing International Finance Square (Chongqing IFS). Inspired by these traditional and modern artworks, the Niccolo Art Afternoon Tea is a delectable new interpretation of the hotel mantra 'New Encounters. Timeless Pleasures'.
Combining classic English style and traditional Chinese tea sets, diners will delight in the intersection of cultures and the infusion of artistic essence in each photo-worthy creation. Almond Apricot Dome is drawn from the symbolic art piece 'LOVE.FOUND.' in Chongqing IFS representing the city flower, the camellia, and the giant panda. Red Gallant Moist Cake and Strawberry Pop Rocks Chocolate Balls are respectively inspired by the 'Colourful Clouds' of Sawada Studio at the Sky Lobby and 'The Power of Growth' of Gelsey Sun Flower Studio on level 4 of the hotel. Diners can also find the stunning 'Beijing Girl' portrait by contemporary Chinese artist Zhang Xiangming recreated as a gorgeous Pistachio Raspberry Mousse.
The impressive Niccolo Art Afternoon Tea is created by Niccolo Chongqing's new Pastry Chef, Johnny Xu. With a career spanning more than 20 years in prestigious luxury hotels, Johnny has appeared on CCTV's TV program 'Greatest Chefs' and FHC events authenticated by WACS (World Association of Chefs' Societies). The team led by Johnny also served U.S. President Bush during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Chef Johnny Xu is tasked with delivering best practices and standards and bringing inspiring culinary experiences to Niccolo Chongqing.
Niccolo Art Afternoon Tea is priced at RMB 328* per set including one bottle of San Pellegrino or Acqua Panna, or RMB 468* per set including two glasses of Niccolo Prosecco. It is served daily from noon to 9 pm. Reservations may be made at +86 23 6558 7088, or via niccolochongqing.com.
