The Chinese herbal health products maker teams up with South China University of Technology, Cambridge University and others institutions of higher learning in immune system enhancement and anti-aging study
GUANGZHOU, China, Oct. 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In September of this year, the International Industrial Application Demonstration of Functional Foods for Delaying Aging and Enhancing Immunity project, led by South China University of Technology (SCUT) and jointly submitted by Infinitus (China) Co., Ltd., the University of Cambridge, Guangzhou Medical University and the University of the Western Cape of Africa under the umbrella of the Belt and Road initiative, was officially approved by the Guangdong Science and Technology Department. This was the first time that Infinitus has participated in and got approval for a collaborative international sci-tech project in the public sector.

In response to and in support of China's Belt and Road initiative, the project will undertake research in scientific formulation, efficient preparation, industrial application and clinical trial data collection and analysis of health care ingredients in the area of immune system enhancement and anti-aging. These endeavors are designed to form a closed-loop ecosystem throughout the industry supply chain, ranging from basic research and development (R&D), pilot tests, mass production, clinical human data feedback to product enhancement, providing a good example of product R&D, manufacturing, technology and promotion on a global scale. Serving as an integral part of the project, Infinitus will play a leading role in the demonstration and promotion of the industrial application, further enhancing the international presence of Infinitus and its products.
On October 14, a delegation from the Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Guangdong Science and Technology Department visited Infinitus Plaza to provide guidance on the project. Through field research, the delegates affirmed the company's R&D strengths and ability to integrate scientific and technological resources, and expressed their expectation that Infinitus and other project participants can tap into their wells of creativity and facilitate the transformation of technological achievements, making a major contribution to the province's ongoing global strategy by applying their industrial technologies in cooperating countries to create great economic benefits.
