The UMKM Academy by Kimia Farma program is an MSME empowerment program through enhancement of local businessmen competence and competitiveness in order to arise in crisis conditions. This program takes the form of an intensive business acceleration program and business assistance during approximately 2 months. There are 50 participants who take part in this program, they are from business activist such as fashion, culinary, and craft. The participants are Kimia Farma's fostered partners, and have been curated before.

Fostered partners who take part in this program will receive training from academics, experts, and professional businessmen in the form of webinars and business coachings by online. To upgrade the competitiveness of the fostered partners in managing MSME, there will be Business Consulting, Re-branding with assistance in making business logos and packaging of business products in this series of empowerment program activities. Moreover, in this program the fostered partners will get benefits and be facilitated in their management legality and business certificates, including Industrial Business License, Trading Business License, Business Place License, IPR Certification, Halal Certification, PIRT Certification, IUMK and other certifications, also guidance in promoting their business products in media social.
