Korea's promising smart content enterprises successfully presented to local visitors at 2018 Japan DCEXPO

CHIBA, Japan, Nov. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea, and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, or NIPA, announced that they successfully introduced Korea's advanced smart contents at Smart Content Pavilion that is set up for the Digital Content Expo 2018 (DCEXPO 2018).

Hosted by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Digital Content Association of Japan, or DCAJ, DCEXPO 2018 is being held from November 14 until November 16, 2018 in Makuhari Messe, a convention center located in the Chiba prefecture of Japan.

This year's event is held concurrently with Inter Bee, the world's third largest international broadcast equipment exhibition, so that its scale is much larger than previous occasions.

A total of ten smart content enterprises' new technologies, such as augmented reality (AR), big data, and platform, were displayed at the Pavilion.

With the theme of "Korean Smart Contents Everywhere", the Pavilion was prepared this year for the first time in DCEXPO to support the development of Korean smart content industry and their advancement into the global market.

During the DCEXPO, all participating companies participated in the pitching events, attracting much attention from local visitors. In addition, NIPA is scheduled to hold around 100 rounds of business meetings between Korean participating companies and local buyers and investors -- including content productions, distribution companies, public relations agencies, and telecommunications enterprise. NIPA expects to see actual export contracts or partnership agreements between them.
