NEW DELHI, June 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mellanox Technologies India, Ltd., a subsidiary of Mellanox Technologies, Ltd., a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end smart interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems, today announced the appointment of Tirthankar Mitra to Country General Manager for Mellanox Technologies India. Mr. Mitra will report to Charlie Foo, Vice President and General Manager, of Asia Pacific/Japan.
Based in Mumbai, Mr. Mitra, a seasoned executive with over 26 years of industry experiences will lead the business expansion in India and SAARC region. Previously, Mr. Mitra held director and country head of sales and operations positions at Cisco Systems India.

Mr. Mitra graduated with Bachelor of Science from Calcutta University and attended Harvard Business School's education on Building Global Enterprises in India. Tirthankar have also worked with AT&T, Novell, Red Hat, and Amazon Web Services.
