SINGAPORE, Aug. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Otis (NYSE: OTIS), the world's leading company for elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation and service, celebrated the opening of its new training center in Southeast Asia.

"The establishment of this center demonstrates our continued commitment to the region. We aim to better serve our customers and bring them closer to our advanced vertical transportation solutions."
Located in Bangkok, Thailand, the new training center houses a product area showcasing Otis's best-selling Gen2® Elevators and the LinkTM escalator, as well as components to allow hands-on practice during training workshops along with a classroom for theory sessions.
"We will be utilizing the center for a series of training programmes including safety refresher courses, maintenance and technical workshops," said Trakan Dankul, Managing Director, Thailand. "These workshops will facilitate the exchange of information amongst field operations and product development colleagues, and highlight the importance of our Otis Absolutes – Safety, Ethics, and Quality – to our teams."
Otis also plans to further develop the existing facility into a customer experience center in the future.
