Queclink Introduces Two New LTE Cat 4 vehicle Trackers for Enhanced Usability in Latin America

SHANGHAI, June 1, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Queclink, the world's leading provider of IoT solutions, has just released two new LTE Cat 4 vehicle trackers, GV58LAU and GV310LAU, for enhanced usability in Latin America.

The new GV58LAU and GV310LAU are 4G-enabled updates to Queclink's previous 2G/3G telematic products, and are compatible with all networks from GSM (2G), WCDMA (3G), to LTE Cat 4 (4G). The devices' comprehensive connectivity makes  them an effective tracking solution for those who travel across countries with different network services, and they are poised to be of particular utility in the Latin America region, where 2G, 3G, and 4G coverage coexist.

Both new products have BLE 5.2, a substantial update that allows for Bluetooth connectivity and makes the devices compatible with a wide variety of wireless accessories. Temperature/humidity sensor, iButton, and CAN100 can all be easily connected to the devices via Bluetooth to collect useful data and aid in precise remote commands. According to the development team, the wireless configuration feature is also expected to be an option, further simplifying the operation of the devices.

While GV58LAU comes with a mini size and provides basic tracking capabilities for basic use, GV310LAU is a more advanced device that has been proven reliable in heavy truck tracking, fleet management, and many other sophisticated application scenarios.

GV58LAU, the LTE Cat 4 Mini GNSS Tracker, is an upgrade from the previous GV55W. It maintains a compact size design that is well suited for light vehicle tracking and light duty applications. The device can also be installed covertly so that when paired with a ghost device, it works as a perfect solution for stolen vehicle recovery, allowing users to track their assets and retrieve their loss.

GV310LAU, the LTE Cat 4 GNSS Tracker, is a new version of GV300W that features multiple interfaces to support a wide variety of external accessories. The new device now has as many as 13 interfaces, including 2 configurable I/Os, 1 RS232 serial port, and 4 audio interfaces that facilitate additional mic and speaker functions. GV310LAU is also compatible with Queclink's external antenna. Users can use the extra antenna in conjunction with the device's built-in antenna to strengthen the GNSS signal, and place the device anywhere without worrying about metal interference.

With the all-encompassing 2G, 3G and 4G connectivity, Queclink's two new telematic products effectively address the needs of the Latin American market. And as the company continues to tailor its offerings to suit the specific needs of clients in different regions, more flexible and cost-effective GPS tracking solutions are expected to be introduced and delivered, bringing value to a wide range of businesses around the globe.
