During the 5-day Cooperation Week, a series of events will be held, including a trade exchange and business matching event, a Chengdu promotional event and signing ceremony for major projects, a "going global"-themed commerce matchmaking event, a "Made-in-Chengdu" product and service exhibition, and the "China Time-Honored Brands Expand into Thailand" event. Several performances and public experience events will also take place.

At the "Made-in-Chengdu" product and service exhibition, which will be held at The Mall Bangkapi in Bangkok, will display products and services from Chengdu, including no-screen TVs, intelligent robots, VR technology, intelligent sports platforms and cultural IP products. In addition to performances showcasing traditional art forms from Chengdu and the China Time-Honored Brands Expand into Thailand event, samples of Chengdu-style food, including chaoshou (Sichuan-style wontons), Zhong Shui Jiao (small pork dumplings bathed in sweetened soy sauce, mashed garlic and chili oil) and mapo tofu (sauteed tofu in hot and spicy sauce) will help cement Chengdu's reputation as the champion of Chinese cuisine.

The highlights of the week -- the trade exchange and business matching event and the Chengdu promotional event and signing ceremony for major projects -- will be held in Bangkok on the 17th. In order to promote mutual cooperation, the Chengdu Municipal Commission of Commerce kept close contact with the participating enterprises while preparing for the event. Several projects involving technology, culture and trade are expected to be signed at the event. Representatives from more than 160 companies and industry associations from the two regions will gather to discuss opportunities for collaboration.

During the event, a delegation of Chengdu-based businesses will also visit Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor and the exhibition area of Digital Park Thailand, with the goal of further strengthening cooperation in commerce and trade between the two regions and looking for new development opportunities in the Southeast Asian market.
