Zing Music, a music composition mobile application with social networking elements saw its official launch in September 2018. To date, the application has attracted countless music content providers and churned out more than 3,000 new songs for the Chinese Music Industry.

HONG KONG, Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- In September 2018, the much awaited music composition application - Zing Music - launched in its official version on both iOS and Android platforms, with the support of close of 100 artists from various levels of the Chinese media industry, as well as numerous partner entities ranging from schools to music distribution platforms.

The application boasts a full spectrum of music composition functions that allow a user who holds little or no music production skills to be able to compose a decent melody, add in the lyrics and sing to the app to create a quality demo of a song.

The app also allows strangers to collaborate in song production, whereby different parties come together to complete different aspects of a song - melody, lyrics, and singing. A user-friendly interface coupled with a vast library of accompaniment loops covering 4 main music styles - pop, rock, hip-hop and electronic dance music - has helped attract a large amount of attention and participation from professionals and public users alike.

Within just a month, these unique features, along with a wave of marketing led by top tier celebrities, have brought about the creation of more than 3,000 new songs for the Chinese Music Industry, with love songs taking up more than 40%, proving once again to be the most popular genre. Inspirational and Hip-Hop genres follow close behind, taking up 13% and 9% of the total output volume respectively.

What is significant to note is that this monthly output volume of 3,000 songs already accounts for 9.2% of the total new songs output per month of the entire Chinese Music Industry. Given that this is an application in its first month of operation, and that exponential growth is highly anticipated, the eventual volume of songs created and distributed here may take up a truly significant share of the entire industry.

With such volume, the Zing application has great potential to become a very powerful song library where artists and media companies gather to seek out new talents and unique works for further development and distribution.
