WUXI, China, March 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, three sets of customized ZOZEN gas-fired boilers have been delivered after passing the quality tests. The boilers will enter the installation phase in late March when arriving at the Uyuni port.
This project is located at the Uyuni Salt Flat, the largest salt flat in the world with the largest lithium reserves. Once the installation is completed, the boiler project will provide a reliable heat source for the new plant of YLB and assist the development and commercialization of salt-flat resources.
ZOZEN fully considered the effects of altitude and atmospheric pressure on gas-fired steam boilers when designing the boiler system. The engineers of ZOZEN properly increased the furnace volume and the convective heating surface area to ensure the heat transfer effect. In addition, the air volume and pressure are well-modified when selecting a burner, which can ensure the boiler output and the thermal efficiency of the entire boiler system.
Apart from the internal structure, ZOZEN also kept a rigorous attitude for the selection of boiler cover plates. Owing to the strong corrosiveness of the saline-alkali land in Bolivia, customers set strict requirements for the adhesion, weather resistance, film thickness and color of the paint of boiler cover plates. ZOZEN gave top priority to the requirements of customers and carried out shot blasting on the entire outer surface of the boiler after packaging. The boiler system was customized in strict accordance with customer requirements, which not only met the requirements of YLB but also got approval from the contractor and end customers.
