SHENZHEN, China, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Uni Core Holdings Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: UCHC), as an aggressive 'company doctor' and 'incubator' of mid- to large-size companies in China is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Benjamin Wang (Mr. Wang, Hsin-Wei) as an Independent Director of the Company by the Board effective from Feb 25, 2010.
Mr. Benjamin Wang obtained his master degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Feng Chia University in Taiwan. He has over 25 years of solid management experience across various businesses, including vehicle-related products, education services and insurance products. Mr. Wang is currently the president of Chun Shin Limited.
Mr. Wang grew the sales performance for Chun Shin Limited, the sole agent of Michelin in Taiwan from NT$1.2 billion to NT$2.5 billion. After his promotion to president of Chun Shin Limited in 2000, Mr. Wang diversified the business and successfully obtained the distributorship of Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), an assessment developed by Educational Testing Services (ETS) in Taiwan in August 2001. He further replicated his success and massively grew the test-taker population from 18,000 to 180,000 in 8 years.
Before joining Chun Shin Limited, Mr. Wang was in charge of the international business division of Zurich Insurance from 1982 to 1993. He grew the business from NT$300 million to NT$700 million and is highly regarded in the industry.
