MACAU, April 20 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Ponte 16 Resort Hotel ("Ponte 16") is the title sponsor of the Macau station of Julien's Auctions' World Exhibition Tour. Themed "Rock the World", the exhibition is going to carry more than 100 pieces of genuine rarity and collectibles from the most top-notch celebrities in the modern-day Hollywood. The exhibition will open free to public from 30 April to 26 May, 2010.

The world exhibition tour is organized by Julien's Auctions, which specialises in entertainment memorabilia and high profile estate auctions. In an auction held last November, Ponte 16 successfully bid for the white rhinestone glove of Michael Jackson (MJ) for US$350,000. The glove was worn by MJ in his first Moonwalk performance and is now an iconic item at the MJ Gallery at Ponte 16 ("MJ Gallery"). Once again, Ponte 16 and Julien's Auctions join hands in bringing to Macau a series of MJ's collectibles, which include his numerous stage-worn costumes, an opulent collection of furniture for his residence in Kent, England, as well as a series of autographed photos, music and movie contracts duly signed by MJ. In addition, the exhibition also features a rich array of treasures from the most famed superstars in Hollywood, including "Superman" Christopher Reeve, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Madonna, and "Titanic"'s leading lady Kate Winslet. Adding weight to this stunning list is a series of costume and props from the movie "Star Trek". The exhibition will span from 30 April to 26 May, and for some specially selected items, the exhibition period will only be until 9 May.
