NEW YORK, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Conway Del Genio Gries & Co., LLC (CDG), a leading financial advisory firm, announced last week that Matthew McGowan, a veteran investment banker with a 25 year track record of completing middle market M&A transactions, has joined the firm as Managing Director, effective September 7, 2010.
Mr. McGowan previously worked with CDG founders Robert Conway, Robert Del Genio and Michael Gries for 11 years while at Ernst & Young's Corporate Finance practice. "We have known Matt since the beginning of his career, and have seen him complete some very challenging M&A transactions," said Bob Del Genio. Following Ernst & Young, Mr. McGowan served as a Managing Director for Giuliani Capital Advisors, and then worked with Macquarie Capital Advisors as head of their infrastructure services sector team. Mr. McGowan has worked in Europe and completed transactions in many European and Asian countries.
