Famously “Inter,” as they are called by their millions of fans, won an incredible 5 trophies in the last 12 months – the Italian Cup, the Italian Serie A Championship, the Champions League (often regarded as the most prestigious trophy of all), the Italian Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
The club has a huge number of followers in China and has been consistently voted the country’s most popular overseas football club by users of a popular internet site. Touchmedia initially teamed up with Inter in 2008 as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations and regular campaigns have appeared since. One recent campaign, running for 1 month in Shanghai taxis was seen by over 7.5 million passengers. More than 984,000 then went into the associated interactive programme to win merchandise, play games and find out the latest club news.
