Manhong Mannie Liu, Ph.D. of Cornell University major in economist, assistant researcher of Harvard University, director of Renmin University Venture Capital and Private Equity Research Center, Ph.D. supervisor; director for North America, Ecological Development Union International, vice director of China Venture Capital Research Institute, director of China Business Angel Association, director of World Business Angels Association. Her research engages in venture capital, angel investment and green investment. In 2005, professor Liu set up the first major Chinese Private Equity and Venture Capital institution with Mr. Cheng Siwe, the vice chairman of the Chinese National People's Congress, professor Chen Gongmeng from Hong Kong and professor Martin Haemming from Switzerland.
