Spectrum Wine Auctions to Hold Its Largest Sale Ever June 25 – 26 at the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

IRVINE, Calif., June 17, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Spectrum Wine Auctions will hold its remarkable two-day Summer 2011 Auction, June 25 and 26 at the brand new Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. The sale will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. HKT (June 24 and 25, 7:00 p.m. PDT) and will feature 2,300 lots of rare wine with a staggering estimated value of $7 million (HK$54.5 million), making it the largest live sale to be held by Spectrum Wine since launching in November 2009. The Southern California-based auction house has quickly captured the international spotlight over the course of six live sales, totaling over $23.3 million (HK$181.3 million). Richard Brierley, current Head of Fine Wine at Vanquish Ltd., and previous Head of North American Wine Sales at Christie's, will preside as auctioneer.
