President Yu Shumin of Hisense Group Receives the "Value Innovation Award" at 2012 CES

The I'TV has already garnered a reputation across China since being launched at the end of 2011. It is the world's first personalized Smart TV; built specifically as a tablet but with all the functions of a TV. The I'TV reached its intended goal of allowing consumers to watch TV virtually "anywhere" with multi-screen interactivity. Its many capabilities and features are aligned with the world's current mobile, interconnectivity and personal consumer electronic trends.

Selection of the award is judged by IDG (International Data Group) and was presented at the "China Day" conference. The distinction is aimed at recognizing worldwide innovative electronic products with huge market value. This particular award is given for creating the largest market value among all the awards at CES. With a global influential presence, Apple was last year's recipient.

When presenting the award, the president of IDG commented, "The I'TV is a new entrant into the consumer electronics sector, having already obtained a 'leading' position in both the Chinese and the world's consumer electronics markets. The achievement demonstrates the efforts made by Chinese developers to provide consumers' potential needs and expectations. As a micro innovation product, the I'TV is projected to unlock the huge personalized TV market."

Ms. Yu Shumin, president of Hisense Group as well as top officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China attended the award ceremony.
