("Lumena New Materials" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries collectively known as "the Group", HKEx Stock Code: 67), is pleased to announce that the Company's major product PPS has earned recognition from the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry as an ideal material for filter bags.
The 2012 enlarged meeting of Filter Bag Committee of China Association of Environmental Protection Industry was held by the Company between 24 and 25 April 2012 in Chengdu, Sichuan. Mr. Wu Shan'gan, the secretary of the committee, pointed out that, "New Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Coal Fired Power Plants, effective on 1 January 2012, stipulates that the discharge limit of particulates should be increased to 30 mg/m3. All the participants in the meeting, including committee members, industry experts and enterprise representatives also paid a visit to the PPS production base in Deyang and Shuangliu, Sichuan.
